A UK promotional products business operating multiple specialist brands had accumulated a fragmented digital environment across websites, marketing systems, product data, advertising infrastructure, and day-to-day digital operations.
Different components had evolved independently over time, making it harder to manage the customer experience and coordinate digital acquisition consistently across the business.
The engagement focused on modernizing this foundation while supporting the company’s specialist e-commerce brands, including businesses focused on custom wristbands and lanyards.
The requirement extended beyond redesigning individual websites.
The broader objective was to consolidate previously scattered digital components, improve the underlying e-commerce experience, establish the infrastructure required for product advertising, and create a more coordinated environment for customer acquisition and digital operations.
Digital Bevy worked with the business over a seven-month engagement covering web development, e-commerce modernization, digital advertising infrastructure, and the consolidation of previously fragmented digital systems.
New e-commerce experiences were developed for two specialist product brands.
The Wristbands Direct website progressed through development and was launched as the live customer-facing platform.
A second website for Lanyards Direct was also developed as part of the modernization initiative, but the engagement concluded before that website progressed to production launch.
Alongside website development, Digital Bevy worked on the supporting digital acquisition infrastructure, including Google advertising and Google Merchant Center configuration.
The engagement therefore addressed both sides of the e-commerce environment:
the customer-facing digital experience and the infrastructure responsible for bringing prospective customers to it.
Digital Bevy designed and developed updated e-commerce experiences for specialist promotional-product brands.
The objective was to create websites capable of presenting customizable products more effectively while supporting the broader digital acquisition strategy.
Development work covered:
The Wristbands Direct website was completed and moved into production.
This provided the business with a modernized customer-facing platform for its specialist wristband product offering and created a stronger destination for paid and organic acquisition activity.
A separate website was developed for the Lanyards Direct brand as part of the same modernization initiative.
The development work was substantially undertaken, but the client engagement concluded before the new website was moved into production.
This distinction is important: we should show the work Digital Bevy actually completed without claiming a production launch that did not occur.
A significant part of the engagement involved bringing previously scattered digital components into a more structured operating environment.
Rather than treating the websites, product advertising, and acquisition channels as completely independent initiatives, Digital Bevy worked toward a more centralized foundation for managing the company’s digital presence.
Google Merchant Center infrastructure was established to support the company’s product advertising ecosystem.
This provided the technical foundation required to make relevant product information available to Google’s commerce and advertising environment.
Digital Bevy managed Google advertising activity to generate customer inquiries and opportunities for the business.
The campaigns produced a consistent flow of leads during the engagement.
We should not publish a specific CPL, ROAS or lead count yet unless we can recover the actual campaign reports.
The work connected paid customer acquisition with the newly developed web experience so that advertising activity was supported by a destination designed around the underlying product offering.
This helped move the digital environment away from isolated marketing activities toward a more coordinated acquisition system.
Over seven months, the engagement delivered a new production website for Wristbands Direct, developed a second specialist e-commerce experience for Lanyards Direct, established supporting Google Merchant Center infrastructure, centralized multiple previously fragmented digital components, and operated Google Ads campaigns that generated inbound leads.
The engagement ultimately concluded before the complete modernization roadmap was implemented. The Lanyards Direct website therefore did not progress to production despite the development work having been completed.
The Lanyards Direct website therefore did not progress to production despite development work having been completed.
For Digital Bevy, the project demonstrates the ability to work across an e-commerce ecosystem rather than treating website development and customer acquisition as unrelated services.
The work spanned web development, e-commerce, product advertising infrastructure, paid acquisition, and the consolidation of previously fragmented digital operations into a more coordinated foundation.
