Sales & Marketing Technology
Digital Bevy Product
Modern sales and marketing teams often depend on a growing collection of disconnected platforms to manage the customer lifecycle.
CRM may exist in one system, email campaigns in another, telephony in another, social publishing somewhere else, and analytics across several dashboards. AI tools, lead-enrichment services, video platforms, and internal project-management systems add further layers to the technology stack.
Each platform may solve an individual problem well, but the overall environment becomes increasingly fragmented.
Customer information is distributed across systems. Teams repeatedly switch applications. Integrations have to be maintained between platforms. Reporting becomes harder to consolidate, and automation is constrained by the boundaries of individual tools.
Digital Bevy began developing ActoryX around a broader product question:
What would a revenue operations platform look like if CRM, marketing, communications, AI, analytics, and customer engagement were designed as connected components of the same system?
The challenge was not simply to build another CRM.
It was to design an extensible SaaS architecture capable of supporting multiple organizations while bringing traditionally separate revenue operations functions into one platform.
Digital Bevy designed ActoryX as a unified sales, marketing, and customer-engagement platform built around a shared customer and organizational data model.
At its core is a CRM environment for managing contacts, companies, deals, activities, lead scoring, and configurable sales pipelines.
Around that foundation, ActoryX adds marketing automation, email and SMS communications, telephony, AI agents, analytics, social media management, video personalization, data enrichment, team management, and client operations.
Rather than treating these capabilities as independent applications, they are designed to operate within the same authenticated, multi-tenant environment.
This allows customer information, communication history, marketing activity, sales workflows, analytics, and AI-assisted actions to share a common operational context.
The platform has also been engineered with SaaS requirements such as organization-level isolation, authentication, authorization, audit logging, integration security, and white-label configuration.
ActoryX provides the core customer and revenue-management functionality required to organize sales activity.
Capabilities include:
Pipeline options can be managed through a configurable catalog rather than being permanently hardcoded into the application.
The marketing layer allows teams to create and manage customer engagement workflows from within the same platform.
Capabilities include:
The workflow builder provides a visual environment for constructing multi-step marketing processes.
Communication functionality is integrated into the broader customer environment through telephony services.
Capabilities include:
This allows communication activity to become part of the customer-management environment rather than existing entirely within a separate communications application.
ActoryX includes configurable AI agents designed for sales and customer-support scenarios.
Agents can interact through a conversational interface and use AI models to support defined business functions.
The platform also includes the foundation for more autonomous workflows where agents can evaluate customer context and determine appropriate next actions.
An autonomous decision layer has been developed around goal-driven customer engagement.
For supported workflows, the system can evaluate customer context and communication history before determining an appropriate action.
Initial logic supports lead-conversion scenarios such as:
This creates a foundation for moving AI from a standalone chatbot toward contextual workflow participation.
The platform provides reporting and analytics capabilities across revenue activity.
These include:
The objective is to connect operational activity with clearer visibility into sales and customer engagement.
ActoryX provides a centralized environment for planning and scheduling social content across supported platforms.
Capabilities include workflows for:
Video-management and personalization capabilities provide an additional engagement channel within the platform.
This includes management of recorded video assets and interfaces for creating personalized video experiences.
The data platform provides tools for working with external B2B data and enrichment services.
Capabilities include:
ActoryX includes organizational functionality beyond individual CRM users.
This includes:
A significant part of the platform engineering involved moving beyond application features into true organizational separation.
ActoryX supports organization-based tenancy with:
Tenant-scoped records are filtered according to the authenticated user’s organization to prevent data from being exposed across organizations.
The platform supports both local and external authentication approaches.
Implemented capabilities include:
API routes are protected by authentication middleware except for endpoints intentionally designed to remain public.
ActoryX incorporates operational security controls including:
Audit records can capture information such as user, action, resource, request context, and relevant value changes.
External platform credentials can be managed through the integration layer.
Sensitive API credentials are encrypted before persistence using authenticated encryption rather than being stored as plaintext configuration values.
The email infrastructure supports multiple delivery providers, including integrations for services such as:
The system supports transactional and campaign-related email workflows as well as organization invitation messages.
ActoryX includes extensive branding controls so organizations can adapt the interface to their own identity.
Configuration includes areas such as:
ActoryX has evolved from a collection of sales and marketing capabilities into a multi-module SaaS platform built around a shared revenue operations architecture.
CRM, marketing automation, communications, AI, analytics, social media, data enrichment, team operations, and customer engagement can operate within the same organizational environment instead of requiring a separate application for every function.
The development of ActoryX also demonstrates the engineering work required beyond visible product features.
Multi-tenancy, organization-level authorization, authentication, audit logging, integration security, API protection, email infrastructure, configurable permissions, and white-label capabilities provide the underlying foundation required for the platform to evolve toward broader SaaS deployment.
ActoryX remains under active development. Additional production capabilities and integrations are being introduced progressively rather than presenting planned functionality as currently available.
For Digital Bevy, the project demonstrates the ability to design and engineer a complex software product from CRM and workflow requirements through application architecture, integrations, AI functionality, security controls, and multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure.
